MEETINGS: Meetings are generally held on the 4th Monday of the month at 7:00. Please refer to the “Calendar of Events” page to confirm the meeting location for each month. In order for the meetings to proceed in an orderly fashion and conclude at a reasonable time, please try to arrive on time. Child care is NOT offered during the parent-only meetings. While we realize there may be times it is a necessity for a child to attend, they are expected to sit quietly WITH his or her parent. Non -members are welcome to join any meeting or activity. In the event of a limited space activity the members of F.I.S.H. will have priority of the spaces available. Non- members are to adhere to the same policies as all F.I.S.H. members, during the meeting or activity. Parents are responsible for the discipline and control of their children during all F.I.S.H. group activities. It is our desire to honor the Lord with godly and controlled behavior in our children at all activities. We ask that all F.I.S.H. members and any attending non-members adhere to the policies of any venue we may be utilizing for an event. Please be respectful and God honoring by using only the rooms approved and only using them for its intended purpose. F.I.S.H. leadership also asks your support, by leaving the venue in the condition in which it was found, and assisting in clean up at the end of the activity. Field Trip and Group Activity Guidelines: The success of any event depends on the participation and support of parents, such as in planning, executing, set up, and clean up of any event or field trip. Courtesy to activity organizers is expected by respecting deadlines, space limitations, age/grade/ limits, and financial arrangements. Late registrations for support group activities may be refused by the activity organizer. If you sign up for a field trip, please make every effort to attend. The places which we visit may have prepared for a specified number of people. We strive to maintain a good reputation, so when arrangements are made for a certain number of people and only a few attend, it reflects badly on the group. Understandably, circumstances beyond control will arise from time to time. If you are unable to attend a field trip or activity for which you have signed up, please make direct contact with the person organizing the event. A message left on an answering machine, voice mail or an e-mail message is not considered direct contact. Family Instructors of the South Hills DOES NOT carry any insurance for any children for any event or activity. Parents are expected to carry their own insurance. Participants of any activity will NOT hold the support group and/or organizers of any activities liable in the event children are injured. GRIEVENCES: If there is a discrepancy or concern within the group or with a member of the group, please bring it directly to the attention of a F.I.S.H. Leadership Team member. We also ask that you try to refrain from participating in gossip, so as not to cause division within the group. The Leadership Team cannot rectify a situation of which it is not aware. The Leadership Team will proceed to resolve the conflict based on James 3:18 as peacemakers, and will use Matthew 18:15-17 as a guideline for conflict resolution.
I / We have read and agree to abide by the F.I.S.H. Group's Policies
